Email VerificationPlease carefully read the following instructions before submitting your petition.
1.To ensure that your email address has not been misused and that you are able to receive our reply, please select "Verify Email" after filling in your email address, and then check your inbox for the verification email and complete the verification process. If you do not receive the verification email, please check your "Spam" folder. The Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry") will not accept submissions made through unverified email addresses.
2.Pursuant to Article 173 of the Administrative Procedure Act, the Ministry may decline to process any petition that falls under any of the following circumstances:
(1)Where the petition gives no concrete substance or does not give true name or address;
(2)Where the petition is a repeat or further repeat of the same matter which has been appropriately dealt with and clearly answered; or
(3)Where the authority receiving the petition is not competent to deal with the subject matter of the petition and the petitioner is found to have filed similar petitions to different authorities regarding the same matter.
3.In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, effective from October 1, 2012, your personal data will not be provided to others without your consent, unless required for official purposes. However, since administrative agencies have statutory duties and specialized functions, if your email concerns matters outside the Ministry's scope, it will be forwarded to the relevant competent authority (agency) for handling and direct response. Therefore, your basic personal information (such as name, contact number, address, and email address) will be forwarded to the relevant competent authority (agency) along with the email content.
4.To effectively use government administrative resources, please confirm the content of your email. Emails that lack specific content, or those containing malicious accusations, defamatory remarks, forwarded internet messages, or suspicious links will not be processed. If the email content involves illegal activities, you will bear legal responsibility.
5.If you require confidentiality regarding the contents or your identity, due to information security considerations, please submit a written letter by mail to the Ministry (Address: No. 15, Fuzhou Street, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 100210) and clearly mark the envelope and the letter with the word “Confidential.”
6.If supporting documents are required, please upload them using the attachment upload function provided by this mailbox. If the file size exceeds the upload limit, please submit the petition in writing and mail the petition letter together with all supporting documents to the Ministry. If the content of your email contains unknown URLs, shortened URLs, or links, the Ministry may decline to open or process the relevant portion, as the security of such content cannot be verified. If the Ministry is therefore unable to confirm the specific details of your petition, the email may be declined for processing on the grounds that it contains no specific content.
7.Please be advised that the Minister’s Mailbox operates through an automated system for receiving and processing submissions. If you wish to submit a petition, you must do so through the Minister’s Mailbox system.
Emails sent directly to the Ministry’s email address cannot pass the system verification process and therefore will not be accepted by the Ministry. Please take note of the above.
